The Technical Service Division (TSD) has technical staffs of expertise in such fundamental fields as electronics, electric engineering, machinery, material science, information technology, or field observation. Arranging staffs of relevant skills for research laboratories, the TSD not only provides technical support for any kind of research activity made in the research groups of RIAM, but also works to maintain and operate such advanced devices/facilities of RIAM that need experience. Unique apparatus is made often for a particular research purpose by technical staffs of the TSD.
