Education
- Entered Changzhou Senior High School in September, 1980, and graduated in July, 1983.
- Entered Dept. of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in September, 1983, and graduated in July, 1987, with the degree of Bachelor of Science.
- Finished the post-graduate course at the same university, receiving the degree of Master of Science in Mar 1990 for a thesis entitled "Numerical Calculation of Nonlinear Wave Forces on Upper Structures of Wharves".
- From October 1991 to October 1993, studied in Research Institute for Applied Mechanics, Kyushu University as a research student.
- Got a degree of Dr. Eng. in Hydrodynamics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in March 1995, for a thesis entitled "Slow Drift Damping Due to Viscous Force Acting on a Cylinder of Floating Structure".
