OverviewThe Dynamics Simulation Research Center was established in April 1997 as a center attached to the Research Institute for Applied Mechanics. The center is located in the Chikushi Campus of the Kyushu University. The broad objective of the center is to develop and apply advanced techniques for simulating complicated dynamic systems such as the ocean, atmosphere, advanced material, and controlled plasma. Meanwhile the specific objective is to study and construct a system for monitoring and predicting the behavior of the upper ocean and the maritime atmosphere in the Japan Sea as a mini ocean. The objectives of the center are pursued through orchestrated research based on laboratory experiments, field observation, and numerical computation. To DSRC Home Last updated at 02.08.05 |
