Theoretical Hydrodynamics on
Advancing and Oscillating Bodies at Free Surface
A new slender-ship theory is being developed, which has no limitations
on the order of forward speed and oscillation frequency.
The theory features in the combination of the particular solution plus
a homogeneous solution.
The particular solution is the same as that of
"high-speed slender-body theory" or "2.5 dimensional theory", which
represents only the effects of ship-generated longitudinal waves.
Missing effects steming from transverse waves are taken into
account through the homogeneous component.
