Next-Generation Renewable Energy Systems

We study offshore renewable energy systems and control under winds, waves and currents, focusing on improving the energy harvesting efficiency and reducing the energy cost. Some specific examples include hybrid wind-wave energy system, digital twin for floating offshore wind turbine, data-driven simulation method, wind turbine control, and ship towing system.
