RECRUIT

Background
- Renewable energies are expected to contribute for problems in energy security and global warming.
- However, cost reduction, divergence, andfunctionarity are necessary for sustainable promotion.
- Wind turbines are extremely large rotational structure having 100-200m of rotor diameter.
Goals
- Promote reneable energy penetration.
- Cost of energy reduction: super large wind turbine, increase in eenergy production.
- Divergence: wind farm, complex terrain, bottom fixed/floating offshore wind turbine, airborne wind, H2 generation, etc.
Approaches
- Fluid, mechanical, control, engineering, etc.
- Numerical analysis, model test, wind tunnel/tank test, field test, etc.
Education Policies
- Promote knowledge, skills, and mental power as an independent enginner/researcher.
- Promote expertize field and multi-disciplinary approach.
- Strategic planning and solving problems.
- Presentation and disciussion in English.
- To make time/task management and making efforts a habit.
Appropriate Candidates
- Who is eager to controlbute for problems in energy and environment.
- Who hope to play an active part in the society as an engineer or an researcher.
- Who is positive to challenge problems and difficulties.
Research Theme
- Determine through the interview. Proposal from the student is appreciated.
