This laboratory conducts research on power devices with high efficiency power conversion for low carbon society as following subjects and aims to create a new electric energy network.
For high efficiency energy conversion considering with future requirements, novel power devices are developed from the viewpoints not only of low power loss but also of reliability and controllability.
To bring out the potential of power device performance with safe operation, intelligent control technologies are developed.
To imply new functions (series/parallel connection, monitoring and so on) into the power module, integration technologies are developed.
