To Students

In this laboratory, we will set research themes related to atmospheric environmental science according to your wishes.
In addition to past master's thesis themes, we are also promoting research on hardware related to artificial satellites (instrument development and observation).
To avoid mismatches in the research environment, we ask applicants to visit our laboratory or have an interview (online/face-to-face) once before taking the exam.
We welcome curious students who are interested in natural science to visit our laboratory.

The Visiting Day is held every May at Kyushu University Chikushi Campus . You can introduce the research of each laboratory and interact with current students.

The Research Institute for Applied Mechanics (RIAM) is a collaborative research institute of the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences (IGSES). Students who wish to join this laboratory should take the Earth System Science and Technology major.
For recruitment requirements, please see master's and doctoral programs.
