Scope
This group explores the mystery of ocean circulations by way of numerical modeling. We also challenge to predict the future of ocean environment as shown by this map.

- Mr. Itou received doctor degree with a thesis entitled " Prediction of fishing grounds of swordtip squid (Uroteuthis edulis) using observational data from coastal fishing vessels ". (September 25, 2023)
- Mr. Ito submitted a PhD thesis entitled "Prediction of fishing grounds of swordtip squid (Uroteuthis edulis) using observational data from coastal fishing vessels"(PDF). The public thesis defence was held, July 26th in ESST building. (July 26, 2023)
- Mr. Ito and Prof. Hirose published " Prediction of potential fishing grounds of swordtip squid (Uroteuthis edulis) based on a physical–biochemical coupled model " in Fisheries Oceanography. (here) (July 11, 2023)
