- [Abstract]
- The backscattering properties of randomly oriented ice crystals have been calculated. And those of the peculiarities caused by preferential orientations of ice crystals have been studied, too. The dependences of the depolarization, lidar backscattering and color ratios on effective crystal tilts have been obtained for the first time.
